  • New breeding centre produces more piglets Posted on 18 November 2015

This year Aim for Change established a new breeding centre that is providing livestock to people in need.  Many have already benefited from receiving pigs and chicken, which provide food and a business for families.

The animals at the breeding centre continue to produce healthy offspring helping more and more families to fund their childrens’ education and achieve self sufficiency.  Grace from Kampala received her pig, Molly, from Aim for Change.

She said: “I didn’t realise that piggery would be an avenue through which my daughter is able to receive formal education.  I was also able to buy a mattress and clothes.”

Annet from Masindi has been able to plant sugar cane, rear rabbits and pay her childrens’ school fees thanks to the income she has generated from pigs and chicken donated by Aim for Change.  She said: “The hope I have is because Aim for Change intervened.”
